The main focus of the project is accomplishment of the major march in September 2019. We are offering different forms of partaking in the current project.

Core group

Preparation for the major event.

Core group participants shall:

· Be adults of full age.

· Take training in mountain hiking, preferably in the historical gear well before the major event.

· Take part in at least one training hiking trip in the mountainous area or highlands arranged by the organizers or submission of a detailed report of the trip of the equivalent complexity and duration.

· Inform organisers of their intention to take part in the project and training/testing events in good time.

· Complete the test hiking trip wearing historical uniform to be admitted by the organisers to participation in the main event in September 2019.

Help from the organisers:

· Answering questions about historical gear, details of the Swiss campaign and techniques of mountain hiking.

· Financial support to acquire uniform and equipment as well as payment of overhead expenses during the main event in September 2019 provided the organisers obtain sufficient funds to finance these expenses.

· Guidance throughout the project: detailed information on the terms, cost, problem solution, medical support while on the march, time and dates of the march and other matters.

· Legal advice.

Sponsorship

Admission to the main event for making financial contribution to the preparation of the historical march. This form of participation is designed for persons delegated by project partners and is subject to agreement with the project organisers. In all other aspects this form of participation is identical to the core group.

Free form of partaking

A free participant takes part in the historical march at own expense but keeping in contact and coordinating his participation with the core group and organisers.

Free participants shall:

· Be adults of full age.

· In good time confirm their participation in the main event, and optionally at any preparation / training sessions.

Help from the organisers:

· Answering questions about historical gear, details of the Swiss campaign and techniques of mountain hiking.

· Guidance throughout the project: detailed information on the terms, cost, problem solution, medical support while on the march, time and dates of the march and other matters.

· Legal advice.

Special form of partaking

Any other form of partaking not mentioned above can be proposed and discussed with the organisers on case by case basis.
